Day Dreamer Interactive Press Release
February 2009

Well it's that time again...another month passes and with the passage of another month comes a new press release. This month everything is pretty much centered around The Squared Circle and it's future.

I also have a special discount for all those who have yet to experience the Squared Circle, please see the end of this press release for the details.

The Squared Circle: Puroresu
The next sourcebook for the Squared Circle Wrestling RPG we will be heading to Japan to explore the professional wrestling scene there. Japan takes it's professional wrestling seriously and the style Japanese wrestlers utilize is a whole lot stiffer than American wrestlers are used to.

This book will introduce four new classes; Faita, Martial Artist, Mixed Martial Artist and Super-Heavy.

Faita: The standard Japanese wrestler class, a well-rounded class with a higher toughness level.

Martial Artist:A class that focuses on Martial Arts strikes to take home the wins
.

Mixed-Martial Artist: Able to deliver powerful strikes as well as being able to hold their own in grappling situations.

Super-Heavy: Massive wrestlers is the hallmark of this class, we are talking about sumo sized wrestlers here...definitely not someone you want crashing down on top of you.

Aside from the new class this sourcebook will introduce a handful of new skills as well as an advanced submission mechanic that will expand on the Submission rules from the core book.

The new moves introduced in this supplement will also have more of a focus on submission holds as well as quite a few technical oriented maneuvers.
Scheduled Release Date: May 2009

The Squared Circle Move Index
A move index has been prepared by a Mr. Brad Harmer and he has graciously offered to share it with all the Squared Circle players. This index lists all the moves in alphabetical order as well as the page number that they can be found at.

This file also includes the name of the sourcebook as is the case for moves form the Lucha Libre book. You can download the file here: http://www.daydreamerinteractive.com/sheets/Moves_Index.pdf

Also you can expect more in the future from Brad as he is currently working on a setting/scenario book to be released for the Squared Circle in the near future. He's just begun work so there isn't very many details but once I know more you'll get the juicy details right here in these monthly press releases.

The Squared Circle Character Generator
Work is ongoing on this program, progress is probably somewhere around 50% and I have most of the functions working to a point where I can create a Brawler character to completion. So the next step is to get the program printing out the character sheet.

The Squared Circle Quick-Start
I've also come up with an idea to create a free quick-start guide for The Squared Circle that would allow interested parties to get a limited demo of the game to see if they would like the game. It's an idea that I'll be working on when I have time in the coming weeks and see where it goes.

Damn May is so far off. Sad (And Lulu is so slow its been 2 weeks and my books have not arrived yet)

Being a Big Fan of the Japanese Strong Style and Submission/Technical Wrestling in General I can hardly wait for this to be released.

Looking forward to this and further publications Especially a Hardcore Wrestling Sourcebook (Not that wussy wwe hardcore match stuff but the hardcore found in Japan and early ECW)

I'm loving the amount of support being given to this game.  Too many great systems die for the lack of it.

Brad Harmer is awesome.
